Argentina offers a certificate which is internationally acknowledged: CELU, Certificate of Spanish: Language and Use. CELU is a proficiency test of Spanish as a foreign language. It can be taken by any foreigner whose mother tongue is not Spanish and who wants to prove his or her ability to use Spanish as a second language in working and academic contexts. The CELU examination is officially acknowledged by the Ministry of Education and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina.

Próximo examen CELU 2023: 3 de noviembre

El viernes 3 de noviembre se tomará el próximo Examen CELU (Certificado de Español: Lengua y Uso) de 2023 de manera digital. Los orales se tomarán los días 9 y 10 de noviembre. 

La inscripción se realiza a través del sitio www.celu.edu.ar desde el 14 de septiembre hasta el 5 de octubre de 2023 (sujeto a los cupos disponibles).

La formación en docencia e investigación en la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera tiene en nuestro país una fructífera trayectoria que se ha ido consolidando paulatinamente desde la creación del Consorcio Interuniversitario ELSE en el año 2004 hasta la actualidad. A este proyecto, iniciado por las universidades de Buenos Aires, de Córdoba y del Litoral, más el compromiso y acompañamiento del Ministerio de Educación con ayuda financiera, fueron sumándose aquellas otras que compartían los objetivos del Consorcio y creían en un trabajo mancomunado.
